Kasbah found two birds and a trapped coon.

Flushed the Rooster caught killed and delivered to hand the hen in less than a minute and attacked the coon while the Griff's  were baying it.
We are working on channeling her enthusiasm.

Acey did not get to go hunting this fall/winter season.  She is going through the steadying process.  Acey is doing well, as seen here in a training session.  The mild weather has given us lots of good training days.

Dogs Daphne, Lil (in back), Chaps, Calvin, and Hobbes.  The last three are pups (7 to 11 months)  learning the fine points of hunting from our two seasoned hunters Daphne and Lil. The young pups are catching on.  We bagged 8 pheasants and put up at least that many more in three hours. It was a unusually mild Christmas Eve Day.  Temps were in the low 50's.

Daphne loves her new belly saver vest as seen in the picture. No more scratched up belly when she feels the need to hit the briars to flush out a stubborn bird.  She can show the young dogs, just how it's done.
